At Brides, it’s our job to highlight the best of the best in the wedding industry, and we’ve admittedly fallen short. There has been an obvious lack of diversity in our work, from our real wedding features to best-of lists, and, going forward, that will no longer be the case.
Our team is committed to making Brides a more diverse brand. We recognize that we have a lot of work to do, but we can promise you one thing: We will be better. Internally, we’re planning actionable long-term commitments and goals that will help hold us accountable, and we look forward to sharing those with you all soon.
To start, we’ve compiled a list of 100+ black wedding professionals whose talented work should have been shared a long time ago. This list is just that, a start, and we’ll continuously update it with creative and passionate pros in our industry. We encourage you to follow, collaborate with, and support these vendors now—and always. We vow to.
