Parkway Ford Lincoln has been certified as a J.D. Power 2018 Dealer of Excellence. The program recognizes dealerships throughout the country that provide exceptional customer service.

Reynolds American Inc. and its companies have been certified as a great workplace by Great Place to Work for a second consecutive year. The award is based on ratings provided by the employees in anonymous surveys.

Kevin Clinkenbeard has joined Arbor Acres as director of facilities. He will be responsible for managing the upkeep of all buildings and homes at Arbor Acres. He will also oversee the safety and security of residents and property. Clinkenbeard was previously at The Virginian, a retirement community in Fairfax, Va., where he worked in security and facilities management. He has professional certifications from George Mason University, Michigan State University and Harvard University. As a member of the Air Force, Clinkenbeard was one of 20 airmen selected to become a member of the United States Air Force Presidential Honor Drill Team.

Dr. Diana Ticlavilca has joined Winston Smiles dental office as a general dentist. She completed her general practice residency at East Carolina Dental School. Ticlavilca is a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas and completed dental school at the University of Kentucky.

David B. Freedman has been selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America 2019 directory for Bet-the-Company Litigation, Criminal Defense: General Practice, Criminal Defense: White-Collar. In addition, Freedman was selected as the 2019 Best Lawyers Lawyer of the Year for Criminal Defense: White-Collar for the Greensboro area.

Taylor Woodson has joined CBRE Triad as an assistant real estate manager in the Asset Services division. Previously, he was with the CBRE Charlottesville office. Woodson graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor of science in real estate and a minor in property management.

The Center for Creative Economy has selected the 10 finalists in the Creative Startups Southeast Accelerator program. Participants will complete an eight-week educational program and the top three startups will split a pool of $50,000 in seed-stage investment. The companies are: Animation Bee; ArtPop Street Gallery of Charlotte; Beaumonde of Raleigh; Drikybot of Bordeaux, France; EarlyGroove; EduMotion of Chicago; Joyfire; Natalie Rebecca Design, LLC, of Raleigh; Point Motion from Boston; and The Pepper Merchant.

David Perry has been promoted to director of purchasing and product costing for Mickey Truck Bodies. He joined the company in 2012 as a senior buyer and most recently was the purchasing and materials manager.

Larry Henson has been promoted to associate cost accounting manager at Mickey Truck Bodies. He has been on the purchasing team for five years, most recently as associate purchasing manager.

Debra DiEdwardo has joined Mickey Truck Bodies as a purchasing agent. Prior to Mickey she was supply-chain manager with Beta Fueling Systems LLC, an aviation refueling equipment manufacturer based in Reidsville.

Anne Goldman has joined Biscuitville as chief development officer. She replaces Tim Hegarty, who recently retired. Prior to joining Biscuitville, Goldman, a certified commercial investment member, served as senior director, global real estate and development, for Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corp. Goldman received a bachelor’s degree in science from Meredith College and a post- graduate certificate in corporate law from Meredith College’s Paralegal Program.

Biscuit King will open its fourth location, the first in the Triad market, in the spring of 2019. The restaurant will be located on Sedgebrook Street in High Point on property that was recently purchased. Biscuit King currently operates three locations in Lexington. David Graziano and Mark Lowder, the owners, purchased the business in 2016. Matt King, a CBRE Triad vice president and Christy Smith, an associate, represented the seller in the transaction, and Joe Stanley, senior associate, represented Biscuit King.
