CDM champions digital transformation in Cebu, Jakarta


Known for being the only industry in the country who has certifications in digital transformation, digital marketing, social media, e-commerce, digital media, and marketing analytics among others, Certified Digital Marketer (CDM) continues to champion digital learning as its program pilots have already reached Cebu, and Jakarta, Indonesia. 

With this accomplishment, the pioneer in digital marketing education and transformation in the Philippines has now reached a new high by educating almost 8,000 students this 2019. 

“CDM’s main goal is to help educate and transform professionals and businesses in a highly connected, digital environment,” said Katz Lobregat-Enriquez, Managing Partner and Chief Marketing Officer of E-Learning Edge, Inc., the company behind CDM. 

“Our knowledge and capability to support professionals and organizations through upskilling and coaching can benefit not just the Philippines but our Asian neighbors. This 2019, we wanted to test that in Jakarta and we did it,” she added.

CDM launched the Certified Digital Professional (CDP) in Indonesia that aimed to educate professionals from varying companies and industries that are focused on improving their digital knowledge and skills in the midst of the ever-changing digital landscape of the country.

The two-day workshop, headed by Wizard Manila’s Jason Cruz, discussed about “Marketing in a Digital World” and was attended by more than 30 professionals in the digital and advertising industry. It expounded the basics of digital marketing in Indonesia and how to maximize the up and coming trends that are propagating throughout the different industries. 

Aside from its expansion outside the Philippines, CDM has also leveraged on the power of technology by launching its first live cast to reach more professionals based in Cebu. 

Social Media Program, one of its highly rated programs, was broadcasted exclusively for Cebuano students. This two-day broadcast event was led by Havas Media Ortega’s Shayne Garcia-Madamba and AIA Philam Life’s Miko de Vera. 

2019 also became a year for CDM to foster more partnerships with industry leaders. The company teamed up with Lazada and Online Micro Sellers Marketing Cooperative and established the Lazada University x CDM’s Facebook Marketing Masterclass. 

This masterclass that aims to provide multidisciplinary learning programs exclusive for Lazada’s sellers, consisted of four hour-long webinar sessions from late September to mid-October. 

CDM was also named as the official learning partner of the Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP) and has served as one of the major sponsors of IMMAP’s Web Wednesday, a monthly webinar series that is designed to support digital education in the country.

At the present, CDM continues its consultations with industry experts to ensure that its certifications and programs are up-to-date and are at par with professional standards, assuring global and multinational companies of its certified graduates’ digital skills.
