HR Certification Exam Prep class begins Oct. 2 – News – GoUpstate

ASHEBORO — Randolph Community College’s Workforce Development and Continuing Education Division has scheduled another “PHR/SPHR Certification Exam Prep” course to help human resources professionals advance their careers.

The class (#67400) will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Tuesdays, Oct. 2-Dec. 18, in Room 107 of the Continuing Education and Industrial Center on the Asheboro campus. The cost is $125, plus $412.50 for a textbook, which must be pre-ordered. To pre-order a book, call the RCC Campus Store at 336-633-0236 by Wednesday, Sept. 26.

This class is specifically designed to successfully prepare students to pass the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) exam or the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) exam from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI). The curriculum utilizes multiple methods of learning including study manuals, audio CDs, flash cards, sample tests, online videos and training games that have been developed from feedback received from test takers for more than a decade, and therefore, boasts a 90 percent +/- pass rate.
