The NSE Academy Limited (NAL), a wholly owned subsidiary of National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) NSE has partnered with TCS iON, a strategic unit of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading global IT services, consulting and business solutions organisation to launch Industry Honour Certification (IHC) courses for BCom students.

The courses are aimed at boosting the employability of commerce students and enhancing their industry readiness.

Through this collaborative effort, students will have the opportunity to enroll for industry-relevant courses designed and delivered by renowned experts, as part of their academic programme. The objective is to make students industry-ready through applied knowledge and hands-on learning.

List of courses offered:

The elective courses available for the students are Banking Fundamentals, Insurance & Risk Management, Financial Derivatives, Financial Markets & Services, Investment Management and Wealth Management. The courses ensure experiential learning through case study assignments and NSE SMART, the trading simulator application (Powered by NSEIT).

Students will have access to digital and multimodal content, interactions with industry and academic experts, and hands-on experience through industry assignments and practice tests.

On completion of the programme, students will be awarded credits, a digital certificate and support on internships and job opportunities with partner corporates. The courses are aligned to the UGC Curriculum and can be opted as electives.

Commenting on the partnership, Ravi Varanasi, Chief Business Development Officer, NSE said: “BFSI industry is the fastest growing segment for job creation and careers in finance are a favoured choice for graduates.
