Requirements:
i>Minimum of 3 years of at least one of the following trades:Structures assemblyPropulsion hardware assembly/test/installationAvionics hardware assembly/test/installationPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Experience in the aerospace industry, aviation, military or other high-reliability operating environment.FAA Airframe and PowerPlant license.Experience in fast-paced production environment with flight hardware.Knowledge of pressure, temperature and flow measurement devices, mechanical and electrical systems, and propulsion engines.Skill in operating and manipulating machinery and various hand and power tools requiring manual dexterity.A demonstrated ability in reading/understanding technical drawings, manuals and reports.NASA-STD-8739.3 certification (currently or previously held).NASA-STD-8739.4 certification (currently or previously held).Ability to use precision measuring instruments.Experience working in a cleanroom environment.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment.Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with Engineering and Production.Proficient with computers and the ability to use MS Office.Experience with forklifts, cranes and heavy equipment.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. unassisted.Must be able to climb ladders and be comfortable working in tight spaces.Must be willing to work all shifts, over time, and weekends as needed.ITAR REQUIREMENTS:To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
