Motorola’s upcoming Android One smartphone, the Motorola One was recently caught on Geekbench, revealing its core specifications. A variant of the smartphone carrying the model number XT1941-2 has now been certified by TENAA, revealing a P30-like design and some interesting hardware specifications.

Motorola One: TENAA Listing Reveals Key Specs, Features

The Motorola One TENAA listing reveals the smartphone comes with a 5.86-inch TFT LCD display with 720 x 1520 HD+ resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio. Even though it is not clearly visible in the image uploaded on the TENAA website, the smartphone does have a notch at the top, just like the recently unveiled Moto P30. In terms of size, the smartphone measures 149.9 x 72.2 x 7.9mm and weighs in at 162 grams. While a recent Geekbench listing had revealed the Motorola One will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC under the hood, the TENAA listing mentions it runs on an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz. Going by the clock speeds mentioned in the Motorola One TENAA listing, it is possible that the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 chipset instead, which has a 2.2 GHz maximum clock speed. In the memory department, the Motorola One will be available in China in three configurations. The base variant will come with 3GB of RAM along with 32GB of onboard storage, while the top-end configuration will include 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The mid variant gets 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. For further expansion, the smartphone comes with a microSD card slot as well.

Interestingly, the TENAA listing reveals the Motorola One will be equipped with a quad camera setup. It will have two vertically-stacked sensors at the rear and two sensors housed within the notch on the front. The resolution of the sensors has not been revealed, although the dual-camera setup at the back of the phone will have a 13MP primary sensor according to TENAA. On the front, the smartphone will have a dual-camera setup with an 8MP primary sensor. Keeping the lights on will be a 3000mAh non-removable battery. Like other Motorola smartphones announced this year, we do expect the Motorola One to come with fast charging support. In terms of software, the Motorola One will ship with the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box. Color options will include Black, Gold, and Silver.

Motorola One: Expected Price in India

Going by the specifications listed on the TENAA website, we can expect the Motorola One to be priced under Rs.15,000 in the Indian market. It will take on smartphones like the Xiaomi Redmi Y2 and the upcoming Nokia 5.1 Plus. As for the launch date, there is no concrete info available just yet. That said, we do expect Motorola to launch the Moto One in India soon after its global debut.

The Motorola One will be joined by a more expensive device, rumored to be dubbed the Motorola One Power. It will have similar specifications as the Motorola One but with a few key differences. The Motorola One Power is expected to have a metal unibody design and will justify the “Power” suffix in its name with a large 4850mAh capacity battery. With such a large battery under the hood, the Motorola One Power should be able to deliver fantastic battery life that will please even the most demanding power users out there. Apart from a significantly larger battery, the Motorola One Power will also have a larger 6.18-inch TFT LCD display with 1080 x 2246 Full HD+ resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio.
