St. Charles County executive Steve Ehlmann recently appointed Samantha Shadrach as the county’s new director of human resources, according to a press release.
Shadrach was confirmed by the St. Charles County Council at its Oct. 9 meeting and started in her new position Oct. 15.
“Samantha has experience in all areas of human resources and brings knowledge and enthusiasm to this position,” Ehlmann said. “She has an excellent reputation in her field and will be a tremendous asset to St. Charles County government.”
Shadrach comes to the county from Warrenton Oil Company, in Warrenton, where she served as director of human resources. Prior, she was human resources program manager for student employment and regional campus director at Lindenwood University and was employed by True Manufacturing, in O’Fallon, as an HR Generalist. Her areas of expertise include team building and leadership, employee relations and personnel education and career development.
Shadrach received her Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from Lindenwood University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources by the HR Certification Institute and as a Senior Certified Professional by the Society of Human Resource Management.
